SAGA launches its new touch-sensitive kiosk: KURVEO
KURVEO press release 12.12.2023
With its curved 23.6” screen, the touch-sensitive self-ordering station will surprise POS sales professionals seeking increasingly sophisticated designs.
In 2019, Perimatic started marketing its KOBÉ touch-sensitive payment terminals for restaurants: the KOBÉ self-ordering kiosks. Two screen size are available, 21.5” or 32”, and both versions feature an Intel Core i5-5th generation processor compatible with Windows and Linux operating systems.
PERIMATIC is now launching KURVEO, a touch-sensitive kiosk in painted stainless steel available in two installation models:
– 50 x 50 cm countertop version, with a matt black grain paint finish.
– Column-mounted version with a total height of 165 cm, with the front painted in white varnish, and the same matt black grain at the back.
Both versions feature a LED light at the base to indicate the status of the kiosk, which is controlled by an electronic card using the protocol supplied.

➢Aesthetic quality & performance
This new-generation self-ordering kiosk was presented at the PARIS RETAIL WEEK show, and made a striking impression at first sight, due to its curved 16:9 format (23.6”) capacitive projected touch-screen (used on smartphones and tablets). The curved effect, drawing inspiration from the gaming world, has been designed in portrait format, aligning closely with the sought-after ergonomics by outlets to maximise the available sales space. In addition to its ultra-modern design, the full HD curved screen boasts exceptional durability, and its shape helps diminish reflections commonly seen on the glossy touch-screens of modern POS products and kiosks, enhancing the user experience for customers. Regarding its performance capabilities, the motherboard unit located either in the column or in the body of the countertop kiosk can accommodate both a Windows/Linux-based motherboard featuring the highly powerful Intel Core i5-10th generation processor and an Android 11 – RK3568 board. The peripherals built into the kiosk are fully compatible with both motherboards and include:
- The SAGA SGRP300L 80 mm thermal receipt printer is fully integrated and slides into the space provided for printing customer receipts. The front panel’s locked hatch provides quick access to the printer for changing the paper roll.
- The same hatch is used to access the integrated 2D NFC scanner/reader on the column version. The motherboard/printer and scanner assembly is accessible from the back on the countertop version.
- With a free choice of payment terminal, an aluminium pole on the right-hand side of the kiosk, fitted with a universal bracket, makes it easy to attach the required terminal.
➢ Registered community model
PERIMATIC’s R&D department took 9 months to create and design the KURVEO in these two versions. The choice of components is essential, and we have selected reliable and durable components to best meet our customers’ needs.
The choice of motherboards is carefully considered to form a complementary range. These motherboard versions with Intel processors or Android cards are the same as those integrated into our OVA touch terminals, ensuring better maintenance of SAGA POS and KIOSK-equipped IT equipment.
Through these design details and in order to safeguard our teams’ intellectual property, the KURVEO kiosk has been subject to the registration of both models with the EUIPO (European Union for Intellectual Property Office) under the Community model number 015033633. PERIMATIC is committed to international expansion, particularly in Europe, to highlight the quality of its point-of-sale solutions.
